The short version: be cool, practice lots, don't copy our stuff, and remember that subscriptions are handled by Apple. The long version is below.

1.Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Panvoir ("Freta," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Freta mobile application and related websites and services (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using Freta, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2.Who can use Freta

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use an app like Freta without parental consent) to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3.Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Freta for your own personal, non-commercial guitar learning. You agree not to:

4.Freta Pro subscriptions

Some features of Freta require a paid subscription ("Freta Pro"). Subscriptions are offered monthly and annually, and are purchased and billed through your Apple App Store account, not by us directly.

5.Your content and progress

Your practice history, streaks, XP, custom routines, and other progress data are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device backed up; if you delete the app or your data, we may not be able to restore your progress. You can erase your progress at any time from within the app's settings.

6.Our content

The Service โ€” including its lessons, drills, chord diagrams, graphics, animations, sounds, text, and the Freta name and logo โ€” is owned by Panvoir or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms gives you any right to use our branding or content outside the app.

7.Not professional advice

Freta is an educational tool for learning guitar. Stretching your fingers into new chord shapes can be uncomfortable โ€” listen to your body, take breaks, and stop if you feel pain. Freta is not a substitute for advice from a medical professional or a qualified instructor.

8.Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that you will become the next Hendrix (though we're rooting for you).

9.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Panvoir will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or US $50.

10.Termination

You may stop using Freta at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

11.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Panvoir is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring claims where you live.
